ippac1 is the signature for my work.  It originates from a childhood nickname given to me by my father at birth. After his death from battling cancer in 2001, i reversed this nickname creating an acronym signature across my varied mediums.

My work in art began 1986, with the disciplined self-study of drawing techniques for two years, then began painting using both oil and acrylic mediums.  In 1993 i earned a BA in Art History from UNC Chapel Hill.  In 2005  i began using natural based pigments, inks, and dyes in my work, giving space for a smaller carbon footprint.
